What is an Audiologist?

An audiologist is a licensed hearing health care professional who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and balance disorders in adults and children. Audiologists possess comprehensive knowledge of the human auditory and vestibular systems, and they have extensive training in sound reproduction, which is critical to the accurate fitting and adjustment of hearing aids.

Why Choose an Audiologist?

Choosing a hearing professional is one of the most important decisions a hearing-impaired person can make. Since a hearing aid cannot be prescribed like eyeglasses, the proper hearing aid recommendation and fitting is highly dependent on the judgment and skill of the professional selecting the instrument. We test your hearing, select, and dispense the hearing instrument best suited to your personal, professional, cosmetic and financial needs.
